The SOLO 425 Classic backpack sprayer from the Classic line features a piston pump that is intended for higher pressure and low-viscosity (thin) media. The tank has a 15 litre fill capacity, is attached to a sturdy standing frame and has integrated fill level marking. It is made from thick-walled, UV-resistant polyethylene. The sprayer features a large filling aperture for ease of filling, emptying and cleaning the unit. A removable filling strainer is located in the filling aperture.
The robust pump lever, which is bolted to the unit, can be fitted to either the left or the right side of the sprayer. The backpack sprayer features a sturdy 50cm plastic spray wand. The transparent braided hose is particularly sturdy and also kink-resistant, and allows a sufficiently large radius of action. A very robust manual valve with actuation lock guarantees fatigue-free working and can optionally be equipped with a pressure gauge and other accessories.
Standard scope of delivery includes one plastic flat spray nozzle and one two-part hollow cone nozzle.

Wenn Spritze, dann SOLO
Als halbprofessioneller Nutzer von Rückenspritzen habe ich in den letzten Jahrzehnten einige Marken durchprobiert. Katastrophen, selbst im hochpreisigen Niveau. Darunter auch deutsche "Markenartikel". Solo ist, und das nicht nur nach meiner Erfahrung, der einzige Hersteller, dessen Produkte länger als ein Jahr und darüber hinaus, funktionieren. Da ich juristisch nicht ausgebildet bin, verzichte ich auf Nennung der Namen der Hersteller, die mich in den letzten Jahrzehnten zur Verzweiflung brachten. Mechanische Probleme, gebrochene Hebel, Ärger ohne Ende. Was der Solo Spritze den 5. Punkt kostet ist, dass die Schrauben, den den zur Druckerzeugung benötigten Hebel an der Pumpe befestigen, sich lockern. Das kann man mit etwas Fantasie beheben. Aber: wenn Spritze, dann SOLO.
